584 Dolls are on their way to Haiti!

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Thanks to everyone in the Dolly Donations community, 584 dollies are on their way to their new homes in Haiti!

We now have 584 dolls! Again, I want to say thank you to you and everyone who’s made a doll. They are such a joy to look at. I know that every single child who gets one will be elated. At best I was hoping for 181 dolls for our orphanage, but with 584, more children can get a doll. Thank You! Thank You! Yes, Thank You!” Stephanie Victor, President of The Abundant Ground Foundation.

Congratulations Everyone!

Yay! (confetti toss)
So wonderful to read that list ... (And I was relieved to see my name there ... You send out a package, ya know, and wonder if it gets there sometimes ...)

Thanks so much for bringing crafters together for such a good cause, Sarah! (hugs)

I just found your site and am so excited!!!! We have two daughters who are adopted from China and I know first hand that they had nothing...now our six year olds dolls are everything to her! What an awesome idea!
Hey, on my blog we have started links to people who are fundraising for adoption or helping orphans somehow....can I grab your button and let people know!!!!

Hi Cathy,

Would love your dollies for the next drive, have a few in the works but can't sort it out until i'm back home in the US (stuck in the UK due to a rather naughty volcano!) will keep you posted!
