74 Dolls for the children of Maasailand Kenya
Saturday, June 16, 2012
Verity used my Easy Girl Doll Pattern to make loads of very hug-able dolls for little girls in Maasailand, Kenya.
"After a lot of time sewing alone (I) started throwing doll making parties. After my solo work and three successful parties, I had 74 dolls to bring with me."
Wow that is absolutly amazing Verity! They all look so pretty and the girls are all so happy!
"Now that I'm home, I've made some dolls for friends' children. I'm excited about your animal patterns. I think your monkey will be my next purchase.
Keep up the good work. I love your creativity!"
Well I love your creativity and Dolly Drive Verity! You really made my week when I opened up your e-mail to see all of these wonderful photos! Thank you for pouring all that love into them and sending them out into the world to be loved by little ones!
Big hugs to you and all the wonderful woman who helped in your sewing parties (brilliant idea!!) and very Happy Sewing! Sarah x
If you have started a Doll Drive or made a Dolly for a Child in need do send your photos in! xx

Hello, first of all I want to say that your mission is wonderful. I work in a comunity in the countryside os Brazil, it is a very poor comunity with 186 children from 1 to 5 years old, and I would like to know if it is possible to receive the dolls for Cristhmas gift for them. Im trying very hard to give them a Cristhmas Party at the end of this year, do you think that you could help us sending some dolls? I have a blog too, here is the adress: educacaoinfantil-su@blogspot.com.br
Thank you very much and hope to hear you soon.
