Toy Review: Tidy up with a Toy Box!

Thursday, August 26, 2010

We all love watching our little ones play but what to do with all those toys after the fun is finished ….. do you reclaim your common area by hiding them away in a tasteful chest or de-clutter their bedrooms with a toy box?

Sitting at my kitchen tables searching through CSN Stores I found this oh so classy cupboard (above) and thought what a brilliant idea! No one would guess it would be stuffed with toys and books!

But then I saw these fabulously fun  toy chests and thought about how cute they would look in my daughters room ….. Ahhh choices choices!

I’d love some advice, how do you tidy your kiddie winks toys away?

It is so hard to contain toys, isn't it? I haven't mastered that yet, but I do have a place for all of our coloring books, paper, etc. I had an old 3 drawer chest that I cleaned up and painted. Looks fabulous in my family room (where the kiddos like to color) and all of that clutter is tucked away. We also have a huge basket filled w/ games and puzzles. Have fun!

Thanks Susan, I think the dresser is a fabulous idea! I was in 2 minds about a basket as i fear i'll still see the clutter ..... ;)

I don't have children yet, but I would like a chest to put all the toys in, which I do have lots of toys already for my future little ones.

I love the crown jewels box, that is adorable :D
