I am dedicating this lovely long necked softie sewing pattern to my Grandfather who at 94, suggest I make a giraffe, ............. and name him …. John. After himself of course!

Well John the Giraffe loves having fun!

And like my Grandfather, this dapper chap likes to dance, dress up and take his gal out on the town!

Someone has already taken a shine to him …

but then she does love her Great Grandfather to bits too!

Softie & Doll Photos for Christchurch New Zealand Doll Drive

The wonderful Jan (AU) made these colorful dollies for some very lucky boys and girls in New Zealand. I just love the freckles on their faces, too cute!

She's not only made dolls for this drive, but for Queensland and Haiti too! Well done Jan, you're a dolly making star!

Rachel (Switzerland) over at The mucky mac book has sent this box of lovelies off to NZ. I love the veritey and that little robot is so cool!
