30 Dolls off to The Children of Democratic Republic of the Congo

Amy P is traveling out to the Democratic Republic of the Congo with these adorable 30 dolls to give out to the children in May.

Other Necessities Need by the Orphanage: The following is a list of items that are needed all year for the orphanage.

• Clothing – infant through teen
• Bunk beds, mattresses, bed sheets, blanket and mosquito nets.
• Food supplies
• School supplies (Computers, Stationary, text books)
• Sewing supplies, Craft supplies, Sports equipment,
• Toiletries - Soap, Combs & Brushes, Lotion, Toothbrushes/Toothpaste/Mouthwash/Floss, Deodorant
• Baby care items, e.g. Baby shampoo, lotion, wash, oil, powder, diapers & wipes etc

Please contact the Family Rescue Foundation in Uganda directly if you would like to donate other items to help the children.

Dolls for Africa!

Denise has been hard at work sewing dollies for Africa. She usually sews for "Little Dresses for Africa" but wanted a break and stumbled across my pattern. Well I have to say they are just adorable! Look at those sweet little head scarfs, and what pretty heart fabric! She tell's me she's working hard on 12 boy dolls ... I think she might have found a new passion!!! There are going to be some very happy children with new dollies soon!
